Whether you’re looking to keep academics sharp or just want some good, old-fashioned fun, Rec & Ed online summer camps will deliver.
Art, cooking, dance, math, sports and other camps are available for kids.
With interactive projects, activities and learning, if there's an interest, there's a camp.
The supply pick-up location will be the Cultural Arts Building (1220 S. Forest Ave, Ann Arbor). It will be a contact-free process, where you just need to pop your trunk or open a window, and our staff will place the kit inside. If possible, please put a sign with the name of your child and the name(s) of the camp(s) and tape it to your front or back passenger-side window. We will have staff handing out supplies (for all camps) on all of the following dates/times:
Friday, June 19 (4:00pm-6:00pm)
Saturday, June 20 (9:00am-11:00am)
Monday, June 22 (9:00am-11:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm)
Tuesday, June 23 (9:00am-11:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm)
Wednesday, June 24 (9:00am-11:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm)
Thursday, June 25 (9:00am-11:00am and 4:00pm-6:00pm)
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rec & Ed has Reimagined Summer Camp to include both on-line and in-person camps.
In-person camps begin the first week of August. Many are active, outdoor experiences for youth.
Please look for the camps marked with this icon to see all of the options available to participate "in person."
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 at in-person camps, Rec & Ed will be following the latest CDC protocols. We are counting on parents/guardians to keep your children home if they or a family member is sick. More information will be posted on this site and sent to parents prior to the start of in-person camps.
SAFETY TOWN 2020
In partnership with the Ann Arbor Police Department, the ever popular Safety Town Program has been completely re-imagined to work as a virtual camp that includes the many core components that children love.
Young 5s, Kindergarteners or First Graders can become a Super Safety Citizen! Every day, Monday through Friday, brings new adventures where campers learn how to be safe at home, outside, and in their community.
Virtual Camp meets for 1.5 hours,
9:30-10:15 BREAK 10:45-11:30.
30 minutes are scheduled in the middle so children have a brain-break to run around, have a snack and come back refreshed and ready to continue their Super Safety Citizen training.
