Scholarships
Rec & Ed strives to ensure all children can enjoy our quality summer camp programs. We are proud to offer scholarships to members of the Ann Arbor Public Schools community who receive Free/Reduced Meals or meet specific HUD income guidelines and residency requirements.
APPLY
To apply for a scholarship, visit the AAPS Rec & Ed Scholarship Page. Be sure to apply at least 3 weeks before the camp begins.
GIVE THE GIFT OF CAMP
Rec & Ed works hard to ensure that everyone has the chance to participate in recreational and educational classes or activities. Through our scholarship fund, we provide scholarship assistance to give every child the opportunity to experience camp. Tax-deductible donations to the Rec & Ed scholarship fund are gratefully accepted. Contact Donna Dishman at dishman@aaps.k12.mi.us for more information.

HOW IT WORKS

During the summer term 2 (two) classes/activities or 1 camp and 1 class/activity may be selected using a Rec & Ed scholarship. Some classes/activities/camps may be limited or excluded from the scholarship program. Certain camps offer their own scholarships through our partners.

Any listed scholarship copay must be included with your registration form.

Scholarship spots fill up quickly each year. If your child can't attend a camp they're registered for, please notify the office so that we can invite a child from the wait list.
